An Coinneal

It's the oldest parish magazine in Ireland, having appeared regularly since 1959 and today, An Choinneal continues to provide an insight into life in Kilgeever Parish. The most recent edition is An Coinneal 2012 which has a detailed account of the building of St Patricks Church in Louisburgh which celebrated its 150th Anniversary during that year.

Here are a selection of articles taken from past editions which we hope you may enjoy and for which we are most grateful to the editor John Lyons for his kind permission in allowing us to reproduce these on this website.
